This Privacy Policy describes how Maintnr, developed by Apparent Content Creation LLC, handles information when you use our mobile application on iOS or Android.

Maintnr uses a secure cloud backend so your home details, maintenance records, inventory, photos, and contractor contacts stay in sync across every device you sign in on. This content is stored securely in the cloud on your behalf, is used exclusively to power your own experience within the app, and is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Beyond your synced content, the only information we collect is what is strictly necessary to authenticate your account, deliver optional email notifications, and process an optional subscription payment.

We do not sell your data. We do not advertise to you based on your data. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this policy.

The app content you create — tasks, records, photos, contacts, and property details — is stored securely in our cloud backend so it stays available and in sync across your devices. It is used only to deliver the app's functionality to you and is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing.

Each piece of information we collect has a clearly defined job:

Name & Email Address

Used to authenticate your account so you can securely log in across devices, and to deliver email reminders for upcoming or overdue maintenance tasks if you opt into that feature. We do not use your email for marketing or share it with any third party for any purpose.

Your App Content

Your home details, maintenance tasks, cost records, inventory, photos, and contractor contacts are stored in our secure cloud backend so they sync across your devices and are available whenever you sign in. This content is used exclusively to provide the app's features to you. We do not analyze it for advertising, sell it, or share it with third parties for marketing, and Maintnr staff do not access it except to resolve a technical support issue you have initiated.

Payment Information

Pro subscription purchases are processed entirely through RevenueCat. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details at any point. RevenueCat confirms your subscription status to the app so the correct features are unlocked.

Diagnostic Data

Anonymous crash reports and performance metrics are used solely to identify bugs, improve stability, and maintain compatibility across device types and operating system versions. This data does not identify you personally and is never linked to your account.

We do not sell, rent, license, or trade any personal information — ever. We do not share your name, email address, or any app content with advertisers, data brokers, analytics platforms, or any third party for commercial purposes.

Anonymous diagnostic data may be processed by trusted service providers (such as crash-reporting services) solely to support app reliability. These providers are contractually limited to processing that data only for the purposes described here.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or valid government request. Outside of those narrow circumstances, your information stays with us and is used only for the purposes described in this policy.

Some maintenance tasks within Maintnr include links to relevant supplies available on Amazon. These are Amazon affiliate links, meaning Apparent Content Creation LLC may earn a small commission on qualifying purchases — at no additional cost to you.

Maintnr uses a small number of third-party services to deliver specific functionality. Each service is limited to the data necessary for its specific role:

Supabase

Provides secure authentication and cloud storage for your account and app content. Your home details, tasks, inventory, photos, and contractor contacts are stored through Supabase so they sync across your devices. Data is encrypted in transit and protected at rest by Supabase's infrastructure. This data is used exclusively to power your app experience and is not shared with or sold to third parties. Supabase is subject to its own Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat

Manages subscription purchases and confirms your Pro entitlement to the app. RevenueCat processes payment transactions on our behalf and is subject to its own Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Resend

Delivers transactional emails (such as login verification codes and maintenance reminders) to the email address you registered. Your email address is shared with Resend solely to deliver these messages. It is not used for marketing or shared further.

Beyond these services, Maintnr does not integrate with advertising networks, social media platforms, or data brokers of any kind.

Maintnr may collect limited, anonymous diagnostic information to maintain app reliability and performance. This may include app launches, crash reports, error logs, device type, operating system version, and app version.

This information does not identify you personally, is not linked to your account, and is used only for internal diagnostics and app improvement. It is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

We retain your account information (name and email) and your synced app content for as long as your account is active, so it remains available across your devices. If you delete your account, your account information and synced content are removed from our systems, subject to any short retention period required for backups or by law.

Diagnostic data is anonymous and is retained only as long as necessary to maintain app stability, after which it is regularly purged.

Maintnr is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it promptly.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information and app content we hold about you — including your name, email address, account data, and synced content — by contacting us at the address below, or by deleting your account within the app. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If you are a resident of California or another jurisdiction with specific data privacy laws (such as the EU/UK GDPR), you may have additional rights, including rights to access, portability, and erasure. Please contact us to exercise any such rights.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your account information, synced app content, and diagnostic data. Data in transit is encrypted using industry-standard TLS, and data at rest is protected by the security features of our cloud infrastructure provider. Access to your account is protected by authentication, so your synced content is available only to you.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have concerns about the security of your data, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice within the app or through the email address associated with your account.

Continued use of Maintnr after a policy update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
